The funds raised through these initiatives help strengthen our programs and services, including education, survivor support, and our Emergency Assistance Program, which provides essential resources such as temporary emergency hotel accommodations, meals, transportation, clothing, and other basic necessities for individuals and families facing domestic violence.

On May 16, 2026, Wings of Freedom International proudly hosted Networking for a Cause: Hearts United for Freedom, an evening dedicated to bringing together community leaders, local businesses, professionals, and supporters united by a shared commitment to creating safer communities for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.
More than a networking event, this gathering provided an opportunity to strengthen meaningful partnerships, recognize local businesses and professionals who generously invest in our community, and raise awareness about the critical needs of those rebuilding their lives after domestic violence.
Throughout the evening, guests built new connections, learned about the mission and growing impact of Wings of Freedom International, celebrated the generosity of our Community Pillars, and discovered how collaboration can create lasting change through compassion, service, and hope.
Every meaningful movement begins with people who believe they can make a difference.
Networking for a Cause: Hearts United for Freedom was created to bring together businesses, community leaders, professionals, volunteers, and compassionate individuals who share a common belief—that everyone deserves the opportunity to live in safety, dignity, and hope.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER
When we envisioned Networking for a Cause: Hearts United for Freedom, our goal was to create more than a fundraising event. We wanted to create a welcoming space where businesses, community leaders, professionals, and compassionate individuals could come together to learn about the mission of Wings of Freedom International, build meaningful relationships, and discover how each of us can play a role in creating safer communities for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.
As I looked around the room that evening, I was reminded that meaningful change is never achieved alone. It begins when people choose to listen, connect, and take action. Watching our community come together with such generosity, kindness, and a shared desire to make a difference was both inspiring and deeply moving.
This event represented an important milestone for our organization. It gave us the opportunity to share our mission, introduce the incredible people who serve alongside me, recognize the businesses and community partners who believe in our work, and invite others to become part of a growing movement dedicated to restoring hope, dignity, and opportunity.

Proceeds from event registration tickets and the Community Raffle help fund Wings of Freedom International’s Emergency Assistance Program.
Community support allows us to provide emergency hotel accommodations, meals, transportation, clothing, and other essential items that help survivors and their families begin rebuilding their lives with dignity, safety, and hope.
Throughout the evening, guests also learned how every event ticket purchased, every raffle entry, every donation, and every act of generosity strengthens our ability to respond when emergency assistance is needed most.
