Legal framework and scope
Wings of Freedom International is a registered non-profit organization in the State of Texas, USA, and a registered non-profit association in Spain (Martos, Jaén).
Operational Scope & Resource Allocation: All funds raised through our U.S. fundraising events and donations remain strictly within the United States to fund our domestic operations. Because we operate entirely on limited local fundraising and a 100% volunteer structure, financial assistance is heavily restricted and we do not possess the funds to provide direct financial aid to every applicant.
Our Global Lifeline: Our international impact is delivered entirely online across 120 countries. We provide a global database of emergency hotline numbers, local shelters, and vital institutional resources. Alongside this emergency directory, we offer private online workshops with professional social workers and live interactive sessions with global experts to empower survivors toward complete independence.
Funding
Membership fees, grants, and donations; lawful income from training/events; inheritances/legacies; always reinvested in the mission.
Who governs us
General Assembly and Board of Directors (presidency, vice-presidency, secretary, treasurer, and additional roles) guide strategy and report through minutes and annual financial statements. Positions are unpaid except for technical roles approved by the Assembly.
